About the event
Wild Health Herb Walks
Join Herbalist, Bryony Allwood, for a Wild Health - Herb Walk at Chorlton Water Park. Bryony will lead you on a gentle 2-hour walk whilst we learn how to ID and forage medicinal plants safely.
We will be discussing the herbal properties of the native trees and plants growing there.
Everyone will have the opportunity to try a few wild herb and fruit mocktails along the way and learn about herbal preparations that can be made from wild plants.
The walk is aimed at adults. Children are welcome to attend for free if supervised by parents and can keep up with the walk for 2 hours.
We will be travelling on uneven ground in places, so please wear appropriate footwear and come prepared for all weather.
